... every child is a gift from God and deserves to be given the opportunity to learn.
Dear Parents,
I extend my warmest welcome to you from Chen Li Kindergarten. Thank you for visiting our website, and I hope you would find it informative.
Our progress and development
Our kindergarten, stemming from Chen Li Presbyterian Church, was established in 1995. Since then, we have continuously sought to improve our service delivery. In 2010, a new image was given to the preschoolers, with newly designed uniforms, school logo and badge. In 2011, new 5-hour K1 and K2 programs, distinctive to our kindergarten, would be rolled out. These programs include enrichment classes besides the usual 3-hour standard program. This is an initiative towards developing our kindergarten to be a one-stop pre-school centre.
Our teaching environment
Chen Li Kindergarten is an MOE approved school. We focus on child-centered learning, and we strive to develop our children to their full potential. This is made possible with a team of dedicated and trained teachers, and a conducive and safe learning environment. Our teachers strive to keep close and effective communication with parents, as we believe parents play pivotal roles in our children’s learning and development. The classrooms are well-equipped with child friendly furniture and age-appropriate learning facilities. The recently refurbished playground at our courtyard further provides a fun avenue for our children's social and motor development. Learning also extends beyond the classroom.
Our curriculum
Chen Li Kindergarten's curriculum is specially crafted to create a broad-based education. Exploratory activities like field trips, aim to widen our children's knowledge and inculcate their love for nature and for life. In concurrent with the globalised world of technology, time is allocated to teach the fundamentals of computer technology through interactive computer lessons. In addition to the regular curriculum, special effort is made to teach our children essential life values, such as the values of love, care and respect.
Concluding, we believe it is our call and duty to nurture the next generation of God's people to be responsible citizens. Most importantly, every child is a gift from God and deserves to be given the opportunity to learn.
Let us continue to give our best for our children! Blessed 2011!
"He tends His flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in His arms and
carries them close to His heart;
He gently leads those that have young."
